Q1..What are fillers?
It is a technique in which filler substance is injected into the skin to restore the volume and fulness of the skin that is usually lost due to ageing.

Fillers are made up of hyaluronic acid which are natural substances found in the skin.
Q3..What are fillers used for?
Fillers increase the volume and hydrate the skin thus improving its elasticity and tone. They are used for:
1. Correcting hollowness under the eyes( commonly perceived as under eye dark circle)
2. Cheek augmentation
3. To correct folds between the nose and lip called nasolabial folds
4. Enhance the shape and volume of lip
5. To fill static wrinkles
Q4..How is the procedure performed and how long the results last?
The product is injected into the skin with a fine needle. To minimise pain, topical anesthesia can be used.
The results are instant. Depending on the type of fillers, area treated and ones skin type, the effect may last from 6 to 18 months.
Q5..Are there any side effects?
The side effects are very minimal. The products are natural substances found in the skin (hypoallergenic). There may be little redness and swelling at the injection site that usually subsides in a few hours. Bruises can happen due to the rich blood supply of the face.
